Without trying very hard, many people can spend a small fortune on cleaning products. Add to that the vast array of choices, and simply buying commercial cleaning products can be a feat unto itself.

Our family recently switched to making some of our own cleaning products. Now we haven’t gone so far as to make our own detergents for laundry or dishes (yet), but we do make our own all-purpose spray, glass cleaner, and stove top cleaner. We’ve found that with a little inexpensive vinegar, baking soda, ammonia, and isopropyl alcohol, we can clean just about anything!
