Super Surfing Saturday for the Scatter-brained
Since I could not settle on a good theme for this week’s Super Surfing Saturday post, I am going to share some random cool stuff that I’ve run across lately.
- Check out these awesome loft living ideas at Modern Urban Baby. I think I want a room like one of those!
- We are going to be going apple picking sometime in the near future. We are planning on really stocking up this year since apples are always a huge hit in our house. So I was excited to come across this great list of apple recipes at Joy of Baking.
- I am a huge Van Gogh fan and this Sunflowers still life project will be on our list of craft projects this year.
- This is a great list compiled by the folks at Real Simple magazine on 101 New Uses for Everyday Things.
- Pop tarts anyone? Check out this wonderful recipe for homemade “pop tarts” courtesy of Chez Pim.
- This is a wonderful resource to print out and take along whenever you are shopping for produce: Pick Of The Crop, your guide to choosing flavorful fruit.
- A favorite site of mine for a good laugh is The “Blog” of “Unnecessary” Quotation Marks. Stop by and let me know if you agree that it is just hilarious.
Have fun surfing!
If you’ve come across any great links this week, please share them with us. We’re always excited to discover new sites, especially when they are reader recommended.
