Sometimes when you make any kind of remodeling your house last time you should need to cut tiles, or some kind of tile and it is not always easy, so here are some advices and recommendations for you that can be applied to cut the tiles.
As always do not have the power tool you provide this type of process there are some manual ways to cut the tiles. Many times a saw or a saw can be very useful and for that you can support the side of the mountain on a block of wood to make a straight cut, that way once marked the cut line, will build the piece on the edge of a table and putting on some weight over the area that is out strongly and took your hand cut off.
On the other hand there is a possibility that has traced the line to put a nail in each corner just below the area that is glazed which will cause the lifting of the central few millimeters, then you can support a hand to each side and exercise a little pressure, if nails were placed correctly the tile will break without any problems.
Anyway, before you do should practice first with a piece that is not in use, to have a clear-cut technique.
