Homemaking Links & Introducing 3 Moms Thursday {Thirteen}
- The 10 Dirtiest Things in Your Home…and how to clean them. Great advice, especially for those of us who suffer from a touch of OCD.
- We generally drink a lot of milk in our home. Here’s a great article about how to reuse those milk jugs.
- Do you have an appliance than needs to be repaired? When we my husband broke the top of our smoothtop stove a while ago, we ordered a replacement top for super-cheap from Repair Clinic and were able to install it ourselves. It saved us hundreds of dollars over having to buy the part directly from GE. (And no,I am not compensated for this recommendation.)
- A Beginners Guide to Once a Month Cooking. I really need to read this one in-depth and apply some of their advice myself!
- Lynn at Lynn’s Kitchen adventures wrote a great post about how she maintains her weight. She’s got fabulous tips; perfect timing for the New Year.
- I haven’t tried this yet, but Sonshine’s recipe for no-rise yeast dough looks like it’d make breadmaking so much easier.
Some of you may already know that the hub for Thursday Thirteen no longer exists. I always enjoyed participating in this very open meme, and I know the other 3 Moms did as well. So to keep the meme alive, we thought we’d start a similar one here at Happy to be at Home so those of you who used to participate in Thursday Thirteen can still have a place to link up to. And those of you who’ve never participated before are welcome to start!
So beginning next Thursday, January 15, we’ll be posting a Mr. Linky along with our own 3 Moms Thursday {Thirteen} post. And of course, you’re all welcome to stop by and link up so we can stop by for a visit!
