Homemade Rockstar
What is a parent to do when your daughter comes to you and says she wants to be a rock star? Make her one!

First, she needs a guitar which you can make but a “real” guitar is way better.
Then, she needs a microphone:

Just roll some card stock into a tube (good amplification) and secure it with tape. For a metallic feel, use duct tape. Circles of paper is taped to the tube to finish the look.

And finally, she needs a good concert T-Shirt!

Print off a picture of her favorite band and tape it to her shirt and viola!
Instant Rock Star: A fun DIY project you can do yourself with your starry-eyed daughter:-)

Very cute ideas and she certainly looks happy to have them.
That is such a great idea. I like how you went and got what she wanted and put it on her shirt for the day. Thanks for sharing at my Round Robin. Have a great Friday and weekend.
Oh my daughter would so be in the same band, she loves Wow Wow Wubzy! I have to admit, it took me the longest time to figure out Wubzy is a boy!
What a sweetie! I don’t think I would of ever thought of that — what a great mom.

Happy Mothers Day
I’m going to use this idea, my kids love to be rockstars and they’d love to make microphones.
