Food with Heart

In five and a half years as Mom, I’ve delighted in my children’s excitement over the little things… the Finer Things.  One way I like to show my family some extra love is to make the ordinary extraordinary.  This is easy to do for Valentine’s Day by serving food with heart.

No need for new recipes, fancy ingredients, or expensive items.  A set of heart-shaped cookie cutters is all I need to make this day exciting for my little ones.

Get those creative juices flowing!  Try using a heart-shaped cookie cutter to make these ordinary foods extra special for Valentine’s Day.

  • pancakes
  • toast
  • brownies
  • quesadillas
  • sandwiches
  • jello jigglers
  • cheese

How do you make Valentine’s Day special for your kids?  What other “food with heart” would you serve?
