Day 7 in the Happy Housewife’s Kitchen

The time has come to say good-bye my friends. I had a great time sharing my kitchen adventures with everyone. I must admit this was not a typical week in my kitchen as I don’t normally feed 60 people on a regular basis, but every day in my kitchen provides me with new challenges and opportunities.

Our meals today consisted mainly of leftovers. For breakfast we had no rise cinnamon rolls. These are so easy and delicious if you haven’t tried them you are missing out. My mom made these earlier in the week and froze them, so it made for a quick breakfast, just thaw, slice, and bake.

For lunch we brought out the party leftovers and ate bbq sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, fresh fruit and veggies. I love bbq but after this weekend I might never want to see it again!

For dinner I made pizza with whole wheat crust. We had two pepperoni, a cheese, and a pineapple and ham. Making your own pizza is so much healthier and cheaper than ordering take out or buying frozen. I actually forgot to take a picture of dinner! Just know it was yummy! You can find the recipe and pictures on The Happy Housewife site.

The best part of my kitchen week is that I was able to share my kitchen with my mom, sister, and sister-in-law. On Thursday night my sister-in-law was kind enough to make the green beans for dinner and share the recipe in a video tutorial.

Apparently she also went around my house taking pictures with the intent of writing her own Happy Housewife expose’…. we’ll see about that!

I had a great week sharing my kitchen, thanks for reading and commenting!
