Day 2 in Emily’s Kitchen

So, today was a wash in the kitchen! My mother-in-law offered to take us to dinner and buy the kids much-needed winter coats. Who could argue with that? And we went to a playdate this morning so I just grabbed some chili from our freezer. That’s the one thing about my menu…it’s flexible. I don’t always get to all of it, but I do have it all on hand. But, maybe we’ll do the soup tomorrow instead…who knows? It’ll be an adventure! :)
So, I think I’ll go ahead and show you around my kitchen that I wasn’t in today. Keep in mind I haven’t really cleaned it either, but whatever! This is just how we live ok? I have stuff on my counters almost all the time!

I love looking in people’s cabinets and fridge, so here’s mine!

  1. What fun! It is always nice not to have to be in the kitchen for a day! :)
I get my “surprise night off of cooking” on Thursday! Kids are spending the night at Grandma & Grandpa’s and hubby and I are havin’ ourselves a date night!

He told me that today along with telling me that he is sick of eating chicken. Well that is about all I got in my freezer at the moment! LOL So my menu for the week is pretty much shot out the door. Oh well, at least I’ll get a night off this week! :D
Look forward to reading about tomorrow. :)

  2. What a FUN post! Emily, you are my hero!
