Living in a flatshare with friends is a great idea but for those of use with a penchant for interior design, statement décor and lush fabrics those magnolia walls and cream curtains found in many modern flats can be just a bit too plain and of course need livened up somewhat. However there are two main difficulties when it comes to this; renting from a private landlord tends to mean you cannot decorate the flats without losing some or all of your deposit and sharing with one or more other people may result in a conflict of tastes! Not everyone is a fan of black striped wallpaper with pink accent accessories are they?
There are some things you can do to overcome the plain cream walls which can easily be removed once your tenancy ends!
