Caring for the environment at home

Everyone knows that today the care of the environment is fundamental to our quality of life for our children today and in the future. Many times we blame the major industries in some environmental problems such as pollution or excessive energy expenditure, but we realize that we too We can help from home. Here are some ideas:
* Trade in your old monitor for one screen LCD flat. These modern monitors consume only one third of the electricity they use larger monitors and tubes. The same can be applied to television. The flat screen LCD consume half the energy than plasma or old tube televisions.

* Get local fruits and vegetables and organic. Organic foods avoid the use of polluting fertilizers and are also much healthier. You can help the local agricultural industry if you buy at fairs in your city.
* Use organic paints. We had seen earlier that ecological paints produce fewer toxic effects on the environment and health of persons that common paints.
* Use bulbs or low energy lamps. They are a bit more expensive than traditional, but you’ll be amazed to find that one bulb can last you years without change.
* Learn to recycle. It is important to separate the organic waste of paper, cans, plastic or glass. In many countries the same companies deliver waste bags in different colors for families to separate their waste and to recycle some items.

* If you garden, you can avoid using pesticides polluting the environment. How? Inviting the birds to also live there. Build birdhouses to attract them and they alone are responsible for feeding on these insects that bother you so much.
