Are You Up For a Challenge?
Do you spend the first half of each year trying to keep up with resolutions or promises you made to yourself about how “this year will be different?” Then do you spend the second half of the year planning what you will begin doing next year to finally get everything under control? It’s a vicious cycle, isn’t it?
Well, we are here to challenge you—and ourselves—to put a stop to this vicious cycle. The last six months of 2008 starts tomorrow. So are you ready to END ‘08 GREAT?
During the next six months we will be hosting a carnival of sorts. Each month for the next six months we will present a challenge to help us all get our homes and lives in order. Then every Monday we’ll post links to your blogs, as well as our own personal blogs, where we can share what we’re doing for that month’s challenge. Our goal with this challenge is to inspire and encourage one another to reclaim all areas of our lives at home.
We’d love for you to join us in this challenge. If you’re ready to END ‘08 GREAT, you can add our END ‘08 GREAT button to your own blog using the code on our left sidebar.
Our first END ‘08 GREAT challenge is Conquer the Clutter. Let’s use July as a time to get rid of all that clutter that’s been taunting us, and get our homes organized!
How you choose to conquer your clutter is entirely up to you. Maybe you’d like to spend 15 minutes a day, or 30 minutes a week, or just deal with one trouble spot until it is finished. We want to hear and share all these options, and more. All you have to do to join us in this challenge is to post on your blog what you are doing to Conquer the Clutter, and then send us a link to your post, either by a comment or email. Then we’ll share your progress with others by linking to you in a post the following Monday. (Feel free to use this Conquer the Clutter button on your challenge posts.)
So is everyone ready to encourage and inspire each other to End ‘08 Great and Start ‘09 Feeling Fine?

I am very excited about joining in this challenge. This may jsut be the impetus I need to actually get it done, especially my basement!!
I hope I linked this correctly. This is my first month of blogging and I’m really excited to be an active part of your challenge and websites now that I have a blog to link to. Thanks for doing this!
This is great, I wish I had discovered it earlier. Have put your button on my website.
Once on Oprah a long time ago I saw an excellent idea: Put all your strange kitchen gadgets into a box. If you need a gadget and use it, take it out and after use, return it to the second drawer (or whereever). After a month, whatever is left in the box can be thrown out as you do not use it often enough…
I will be working on our garage, see you on Monday…
Have enjoyed clearing the garage.
