13 Ways To Celebrate Spring
Spring officially arrives tomorrow. It feels so good to say that! Here are {Thirteen} ways to celebrate its arrival.
- Have a Welcome Spring party. Remember the Winnie The Pooh story where Pooh and his friends welcome winter? Why not do the same with your family for spring?
- Have a picnic. If it’s still a little chilly, bundle up and head outside anyhow.
- Make this tree full of blossoms craft with the kids.
- Go for a nature walk and observe all the signs of new growth.
- Make sugar cookies and frost them in pastel colors.
- If you haven’t already, start preparing your garden for planting.
- Make some flower bouquets using pastel colored tissue paper and pipe cleaners or Popsicle sticks.
- Check out some library books about Spring.
- Watch this YouTube video highlighting the cherry trees in Washington D.C.
- Go fly a kite!
- Help the kids put together a short play using puppets, stuffed animals or themselves. Focus on Spring coming in like a lion and going out like a lamb.
- Make a rain hat, grab an umbrella, or just be prepared to get wet and go play in the rain.
- Have some Worms In Dirt.
