The snacks below are great options for our children or ourselves. Each one partners carbs with protein, fiber and/or healthy fats. As a result, they’ll keep you full longer.

  1. Carrot sticks and hummus
  2. Apple slices and peanut butter
  3. Whole-grain cereal with yogurt
  4. A piece of fruit and string cheese
  5. Cottage cheese and fruit
  6. A handful of raw nuts or trail mix
  7. Banana and a rice cake with some peanut butter
  8. Cheese melted on a slice of whole-grain bread
  9. Blueberries and yogurt
  10. Cherry tomatoes and cheese cubes
  11. Veggie sticks with bean dip
  12. Homemade, whole-grain muffins
  13. Hard-boiled egg
