So sorry I double linked. The first one went through with an old title (treasure defender) so it could be deleted. I think someone else was posting at the exact same time and it went through incorrectly. It won’t let me delete it.
I love your birthday ideas and links. My 3 year old’s birthday is coming up soon and I need to go through and look at all those posts for some ideas, thanks for putting them all in one place.
Great list. I love celebrating and birthdays so I will be hunting around these links taking notes
Thank you for posting these. My daughter is turning 14 in July, so I need to go ahead and start planning.
Thanks for sharing! I love hearing other people’s great ideas!
Great ideas
We just celebrated my son’s 6th birthday with a Star Wars themed birthday. While not necessarily low stress (I spent over eight hours on the cake - but it was a labor of love), it was definitely low budget. We made a Death Star pinata out of paper mache and light sabers out of pool noodles (you can get two out of a $1.97 noodle). The kids (mostly boys) played with the light sabers THE. WHOLE. TIME. No games needed. We bbq’d burgers, had cake, opened presents and called it a night. Here’s the link to my post, if you want to see pics:
